HOW TO GET ADMISSION IN COLLEGE IN CHENNAI?
Well this is a questions which is asked by numerous students who have freshly passed out of school. Well I was able to get admission in one of the reputed college in Chennai....But the process was not so easy !!!
In this post I'm going to share a few tips and steps that one needs to consider and that might help you to join the desired College of your choice.
1. Score a decent total
Don't get discouraged..Yes this is the first and most important if you need admission in the College..No matter how reputed the College is, if u have a very high total the College automatically has to call you for an interview... Even if u r not a nerd try scoring a decent mark so that the next steps will get easier.
2. Fill the application form with mistakes
Never put any false information in your application form. Colleges are very particular in this. Try to fill the form with any mistakes or errors. Improper filling of application forms will lead to rejection.
3. Checking the College website
Always keep a track of the College website regarding admission updates, called and selected list updates. Know more about the College.
4. Visit the College regularly
If u think your work is done just by filling and submitting your application then your completely wrong... After the first called list is published and your name is not in the list. Visit the College. You will be suprised by the number of students along their parents who are already there. Speak to the people in-charge to are assigned to talk about admission and the people in the reception.
The people in charge will start to note that your familiar and how badly you want a place in the College.
(Note: College staffs tend to respond better if you go along your parents than with your Friends. I used to go along with my dad every alternate day before I got admission)
5. Never be rude
Never be rude or show your anger towards the College staffs. This is the worst thing that can spoil you from getting a place. Never lose your temper and also ask your parents not too.
These are the few which I feel is important for you to get admission in college. I cannot assure that you will get admission 100% by following this. But these are very essential to know and follow.. I've seen many friends who missed admission in their College of your choice due to some silly mistakes.. Don't be one of them.
